Armare PBO runners on Cape 31 OD

Another prestigious class joins the already long list of One Designs with Armare Ropes PBO products onboard. This time the PBO runners  have been chosen for the rigging of the Cape 31 One Design, one of the largest and most exciting OD fleets of the last decade.

Cape 31 was born in Cape Town, from the idea of Lord Irvine Laidlaw, a famous South African sailor, who involved Mark Mills for the design as a one-design class initially intended for sailors from the bay, without rating restrictions, with the request to be able to sail well in strong winds of 30/40 knots and the possibility of being dismantled and shipped inside a 40-foot container. Cape 31 has had and is having enormous success all over the world. It is a powerful, fun and very fast One Design, able to surf the waves and give adrenaline-filled runs under gennaker. The PBO runners produced in Armare fit perfectly into this project, both for the very high performance and for the characteristics of reliability and durability that make this product one of the favorites for rigging at the highest levels.
