Armare Ropes has designed and produced the new running rigging for Wild Thing, the 100 foot ARCA SGR managed by the Fast & Furio Sailing Team, led by Furio Benussi, winner of four Barcolane (three in a row in recent years). Arca launches a sensational challenge to the “Grand Slam” of the classic world offshore: Giraglia, Fastnet, Middle Sea Race and Sydney Hobart. “In 2021 we want to be the first to participate in all four classics, aiming to win!”
New Bobstay and running rigging for ARCA SGR
Armare Ropes is the Official Supplier of Arca SGR. The professionals of the Fast & Furio Sailing Team will employ the Armare running rigging in extreme technical conditions during some of the most important offshore regattas in the Mediterranean, providing as usual important feedback on the products directly from the racing fields.
The new Custom Bobstay on ARCA SGR
The collaboration between Armare Ropes and Fast & Furio Sailing Team led to the creation of the new running rigging and a special Bobstay Custom in PBO recently installed on the maxi.
