Armare Ropes provided High Tensile Rigging with a full compliment of cordage to outfit the 33m Nakupenda SY, built by Danish Yachts and designed by Fontaine Design Group, during the 2019 St Barths Bucket Regatta.
The St Barts Bucket is well known for it’s collection of the worlds most prestigious super yachts, and Armare Ropes was well represented during the event. Nakupenda won best owner driver and placed third in class at the 2019 St Barts Bucket.
The cordage was delivered on a tight time frame in order to meet the project deadline, and preformed flawlessly throughout all days of practice and racing. The new running rigging was tested throughout the series; from multiple high load tacks and jibes, to a 30 knot upwind squall whilst going around the island.
The permanent crew was delighted with the finish color pattern and performance and look forward to cruising and racing the yacht in future events with the new rigging package.
