The upgrade, excellently coordinated and edited by Soluzioni Tessili Rigging, involved the running rigging.In particular a gennaker kit was provided to improve performance in downwind. For the rigging, lines in Dyneema®SK78 with loops boned on the sheets and tackline have been chosen as well as Equiplite “Connector” on the halyard, to connect the lines to the sail.
LP Rigging and Mario Giattino from Doyle Sails Italy provided the sail and contributed to the upgrade.
Perini S/Y “Luna” (formerly “Galaxia”) with a lenght of 170 ft /52 m, was built in 1997 by Perini Navi, who designed both interiors and exteriors, then in 2007 the boat had an important refitting.
