Thanks to the cooperation with Fabio Moncalli of NDT Rigging, Armare Ropes has designed and built a brand new bobstay for the 36m Maxi Yacht “Viriella”.
This bobstay, with really impressive dimensions, has the peculiarity of being split up to allow the cable to enter two slots into the bow and be locked on a single axle, while the part with the single, larger terminal has been engraved and fixed on the bowsprit. The Maxi Dolphin 118 ‘Viriella” was designed by German Frers and built by the Italian shipyard Maxi Dolphin. The boat was launched during the Rolex Cup in Portocervo in 2001. This maxi yacht has a maximum beam of 8.05 m, a displacement of 120 tons, a draught of 5.5 m and a cruising speed of 12 Kts.
