Constructions and colours
Rope’s protective cover can be manufactured with different construction methods and fibers.
The exclusive Armare Color System allows a wide customization of the colors mix, in order to obtain ropes which are both aesthetically beautiful and easily to be distinguished from each other, according to the specific running rigging.
Ropes, especially the technical ones, can be single braid or double braid. In the “single braid” construction the fiber (typically Dyneema®) is left without cover.
In the “double braid” construction, the fiber is protected by a second layer (the cover) with protective functions, but also to make the rope more manageable and with a better grip.
The color, or mix of colors of the sock can be chosen among the many available, following the indications on the composition, by taking into consideration the type of construction and the fiber
Single braid
Some ropes, like Vec-Tec and Dyneforce have a single braid construction. They are very easy to splice.
Double braid
This is the most widely used type of construction, with an internal braided core and a protective outer braid. They are medium-difficult to splice.
Colours of the technical fibers
Technical fibers have their own predefined natural color and it cannot be changed.

Constructive mix for double braid ropes
Double braided ropes can be made with different color compositions.
* Fleck and Marker can also be inserted on Melange and Melange Techno socks in order to better differentiate the different maneuvers.
Solid Colour
Cover in a solid colour of your choice.
Fleck*
The base of the cover is entirely manufactured in solid colour with one coloured fleck. Choose the base colour and the number and colour of the fleck.
Marker*
Solid colour cover with coloured markers. Choose the colour for the cover as well as the quantity and the colour for the markers.
Stripes
Longitudinal stripes of two different colours of your choice.
Mix
The cover is made of two different but paired colours.
Snake
The cover is made of two different colours to obtain a snake pattern.
Melange
The cover is composed by different colours which have been coupled previously.
